Empowering Changemakers for a Better Society
Mass Customizing Learner Journeys in Higher Education
We are happy to usher in the new school year with our speakers Grant Douglas and Bastian Küntzel, with a fascinating presentation:
Empowering Changemakers for a Better Society: Mass Customizing Learner Journeys in Higher Education. This will be given on 4 September at 15:00 CET.
Starting with a quick “who’s a who” to get a feel for who is with us for the session we will open a discussion to explore the questions:
With what intention did you come to this workshop?
What frustrates you about how Learning is organized in your setting in this moment?
What would you like to see instead?
We will then have an introduction to the concept of the learner’s journey as described in Bastian’s book “The Learner’s Journey” before Grant explains how this concept has been implemented at IESEG School of Management where he works.
Bastian will then explain how to design a seminar using the learner’s journey as a guiding principle.
Participants will then be invited to reflect in small groups as to how they could implement the concept in their own teaching/training contexts. After sharing with the large group, we will wrap up and evaluate what the next steps might look like concretely.
