Migration: Challenges of Today and Tomorrow

27 March 2023
17:00 - 19:00 CE(S)T

Dear SIETAR Europa Members and Friends,

We would like to invite you to join us for an engaging event titled “Migration. Challenges of Today and Tomorrow”. The purpose of this event is to reflect and discuss the global challenges posed by the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine, which has now entered its second year of war, and explore its interconnection with the challenges and consequences of other international conflicts.

As interculturalists, we recognize the importance of creating a safe space for reflection and conversation on the role we can play in addressing these challenges. We believe that this event will provide an excellent opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue, share perspectives, and collectively explore potential solutions.

The online event will be held on Monday, March 27th from 17h to 19h CET via Zoom. Registration is open and available here.

The event will begin with a series of thoughtful questions to stimulate discussion, which will be followed by group breakout sessions. Participants will then have the opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas with the larger audience. We welcome everyone to join the conversation, and we especially encourage university students to volunteer during their participation by taking notes of the discussions for possible event outcomes.

Although the focus of the event is on Ukraine and the war, we believe that the lessons and insights shared will have broader relevance to Europe and the wider global community.

We look forward to your participation and to engaging with you on this important topic

With the best wishes,
The SIETAR Europa Board
