Transitioning from Ego-Centric to Eco-Centric

We interculturalists are responsible global citizens and feel our responsibility for climate change. That’s why the forthcoming session with Camilla Degerth, our valued speaker and leader of the next DMeetUp on the 2nd of May, at 3 p.m. CET is so important and urgent.

Exploring how cross-cultural awareness helps when transitioning from EgoCentric to EcoCentric.

We will enjoy an interactive session exploring how cultural awareness helps move the dial away from an egocentric paradigm to a more systemic eco-centric one.

Together we will define what it means to us as individuals, how it shows up, and how we can bring it to our professional conversations.

We will answer the question of how cultural awareness helps not only ourselves as individuals but also in our roles as practitioners or academics in having a greater impact on the conversation around climate on a systemic level.

Camilla Degerth is a member of SIETAR Europa, with a lifetime of living between cultures; as a cross-culture kid, studying, raising a family, and working across three continents. She consolidated her life experiences and now works independently as an accredited (ICF – PCC) coach in cross-cultural leadership. She is a member of the Climate Coaching Alliance since 2020 and has been exploring the facilitation and systemic coaching of individuals, teams, and groups inviting earth to the conversation. Connection with nature is essential for Camilla’s well-being, and also something integrated into her professional identity as a tool for exploring culture, identity, and leadership.
