SIETAR Europa Executive Committee Elections 2026

A Call for Strategic and Operational Leadership

For the 2026 mandate, we are looking for leaders who can balance intercultural vision with operational excellence. Our goal is to ensure that SIETAR Europa remains not only a vibrant community of experts but a robust, sustainable organization with clear project management, financial oversight, and transparent decision-making.

We are seeking a President and Vice President who see themselves as stewards of the Board’s strategy—leaders who can transform high-level goals into tangible, team-driven results. If you are a professional who thrives on building sustainable systems, fostering team accountability, and driving project delivery, we invite you to stand for office.

The 2026 Election Roadmap

To ensure transparency and professional vetting, the election follows a clear four-stage process:

  1. Call for Declarations (30 March – 27 April): Interested members submit their strategic vision, bio, and two references via our online Declaration Form.
  2. National Board Review & Nomination (28 April – 10 May): The Election Committee coordinates with the National SIETAR Boards and Direct Member Representatives (DM Reps) to facilitate formal nominations. A candidate must be supported by at least two (2) National Boards and /or the DM Reps to move to the ballot.
  3. Candidate Engagement Period (11 May – mid June): Members get to know the candidates through their vision statements, professional bios, and introductory videos.
  4. Voting Period and Results (mid – late June): Secure voting is conducted online. The results will be presented at the SIETAR Europa General Assembly.

How to Stand for Office

We have streamlined the path to leadership into a “Declaration & Nomination” model designed to highlight both vision and operational capacity.

Step 1: The Declaration of Interest (by 27 April)

Submit your Declaration of Interest. You will be asked to provide your motivation and answer four strategic questions regarding your vision for SIETAR’s mission, growth strategy, and leadership.

Step 2: National Board Nomination

Following your submission, the Election Committee will share your Declaration of Interest with the National Boards and Direct Member Representatives (DM Reps). To move to the voting ballot, a candidate must receive a formal nomination from at least two (2) National Boards and/or the DM Reps.

Step 3: Candidate Engagement

Nominated candidates will be asked to provide a 2-minute introductory video and participate in the Candidate Engagement Period. Promotion will be fair, transparent, and focused on the candidates’ strategic and operational strengths.

Step 4: Voting and Results

At least 14 days prior to the Annual General Meeting (AGM), members will receive an online voting ballot. Results of the election will be shared during the AGM.
