Joe Kearns

With a background in Engineering and Computer Science Joe has had a varied career in technology and management. He has also been a lecturer in business and management and in the last 15 years, has been involved in Intercultural training.

Joe has had a long and passionate interest in the environment and nature, particularly insects and spiders, and sees this project as a way of making a small but important contribution to the fight against Climate Change.

KAY WATSON

A professional coach, with expertise in intercultural competency and inclusion, she is passionate about accompanying people on their journey to better performance, well-being, and above all to make a positive difference in the world. British in origin, she is also a French citizen, and her own intercultural experience influences her work. She is always eager to learn more about how she can make more sustainable choices and perhaps encourage others to do the same, so she is delighted to be part of this project.

ANNETTE JALL

Annette has a diverse background in a variety of business sectors including healthcare, hospitality, tourism and automotive. She has also lived abroad for the past 7 years, in Mexico, the USA and now Hungary. All these experience enables her to assist you with the intercultural challenges you might face in your business, academic or personal life. As a certified intercultural trainer, she provides cultural awareness and country-specific training. For her, social responsibility goes beyond how we interact with people and other cultures; it also includes how we use and preserve our environmental resources. As a former event project manager, she is looking forward to the challenge of making this congress as sustainable as possible and seeing how different cultures respond.

CHRISTINE FRÖHLING

Christine is a plastics engineer and has several years of professional experience in R&D and project management positions. Christine received her MA in innovation and technology management at the Wilhelm Büchner University in Darmstadt, with a focus on innovation and intercultural competence. She is educated in project management, training, and coaching.

JOANNA REITER

.

Joanna has a diverse career spanning corporate, start-up, and consultancy roles, particularly in the Aerospace and Retail industries. She is passionate about diversity management and intercultural intelligence and works with clients in both public and private sectors. In addition to her client work, Joanna is involved in sustainable organizational development projects and promotes innovation and positive leadership. She strongly supports systemic transformation for sustainable development, emphasizing the importance of individual growth and purpose as a catalyst for a better and more sustainable future.

PEI PEI VONG

Pei Pei is a Senior Lecturer in the International Business study programme of NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences in Leeuwarden. For the past 20 years, Pei Pei has been teaching various subjects and disciplines related to business and management studies. Next to that, Pei Pei is the Internationalisation Coordinator of the study programme where she teaches. Pei Pei has been involved in internationalisation of the curriculum for many years and is still actively and passionately supporting study programmes, colleagues and students to reach their internationalisation ambitions. Most importantly, sustainability is close to her heart and she would like to do and to contribute more towards sustainability and awareness.

Albertina is a fervent intercultural management student, whose heart beats for nurturing diversity and fostering cross-cultural understanding. Beyond the books, she is a tireless advocate for the environment, committed to the well-being of our planet and all of humanity. With prior volunteer experience in the health and sustainability sectors, she has actively contributed to causes that resonate with her core values. Always on the lookout for fresh perspectives and opportunities, she is on a continuous journey of growth and learning.
