The leadership team currently consists of three members:
Anne-Claude Lambelet: A seasoned intercultural trainer and coach with in-depth knowledge of various cultures, Anne-Claude cumulates 20+ years of contribution to the intercultural field and the Global Mobility Sector. During that time, she has served on numerous Boards of Professional Associations and Not-for-Profit Organizations. She served as President of SIETAR Switzerland from 2017-2020.
Anne-Claude’s current focus as she continues to support SIETAR Switzerland’s growth is to co-ordinate the Association’s participation and engagement in migration projects. She oversaw SIETAR Switzerland’s contribution to the UNES PERSPECTIVES – STUDIES Project, is currently representing SIETAR Switzerland as partner for the IncluKIT Project and looking at other ways for the Association to contribute to the integration of refugees and migrants in Switzerland, supporting those individuals and organisations who engage in their integration
When she is not supporting SIETAR Switzerland, Anne-Claude is engaged in volunteer work with refugees, organisations and volunteers supporting refugees’ and migrants’ integration.
Dr Katharina Addington-Lefringhausen: Katharina is an Assistant Professor at the Heriot-Watt University in the Department of Psychology as well as the Director of Community Development at SUK, with experience in intercultural training and development. She worked previously at the University of Warwick as an Associate Professor. Her research interests focus on the acculturation of host community nationals towards multicultural societies, Universities and workplaces. She has an MSc and PhD in Cross-Cultural Psychology and has worked in the USA, Belgium, Germany and the UK.
Eila Isotalus is an experienced trainer working since 2005 through her company Unidos Ltd. in intercultural competence development for organizations for groups ranging from teachers to doctors, from HR personnel and multicultural team leaders to officials working with migrants. Eila received her Masters degree in Intercultural Communications and International Relations from the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. For her PhD, Eila examines the asylum reception in Finland As a member of SIETAR UK she is involved in the project RAAS project team.
