Candidate Statement:
I am grateful for the opportunity to be considered for the role of Vice President of SIETAR Europa. At this important time for SIETAR Europa, I hope to offer steady support and contribute to its ongoing development alongside the Executive Committee and President Papa Balla. With over 20 years of experience in teaching and training across Europe and Asia, I have seen first hand how meaningful and necessary SIETAR’s work is. I’ve had the chance to teach intercultural and area studies in various university settings and to engage in conversations on language and culture through workshops and conferences. These experiences have reinforced my belief in the value of respectful intercultural exchange. My academic and professional background has shaped a perspective grounded in practice and reflection.
