2025 Direct Member Elections

SIETAR EUROPA is preparing for the elections of our two Direct Member Representatives. Read careful the following:

Go ahead and suggest somebody as a candidate or simply contact us if you think you would be a good candidate yourself.

To be eligible, you must have been a member for SIETAR Europa for at least one year and your membership fee for the current period must have been paid prior to the candidate nomination deadline.

As a Direct Member Board Representative, you will be able to take part in all Board Meetings and vote on all decisions of the Board together with the representatives of the National SIETARs. Board Meetings are currently held online every two months, with the option of an in-person meeting once a year.

Taking part in the Board meetings is not the only volunteering responsibility. Here are other initiatives which have been taken by the current representatives:

  • contributing to various discussions
  • volunteering for various tasks
  • organizing events and surveys
  • generating and advocating initiatives
  • and the most important task, of course, is maintaining contact with the ever-changing DM community, including reporting to them the decisions of the Board

Call for Nominations: Nominations are now open, with a deadline of August 1st, 2025.

Should you yourself be interested in the position, or want to nominate someone, please send an email to secretary@sietareu.org and office@sietareu.org by August 1st, including:

  • your CV and a motivation letter detailing why you want to become a Board Member
  • your photo
  • membership first joining date

Candidate confirmation: From August 1st to 4th.

Election campaign: The election campaign will take place from August 4th to 25th. Direct Members will receive an email with information on the candidates and a link to an online ballot.

Voting: Week of August 25th.
